Bill Murphy

Bill Murphy specializes in the Commercial and Light Industrial Real Estate market. Murphy & Murphy's main office is located in Exeter, the center of Rockingham County, which in the past few years has become very active because of the completion of the four-lane NH Highway Route 101. The highway has made towns like Brentwood, Epping, Fremont, Kingston, Nottingham, and Barrington easily accessible to Interstates I-93 and I-95, and have become much in demand for warehousing and light manufacturing companies.

Murphy states, " In the past, these types of business wanted to be close to Manchester or the Seacoast area, and it was difficult to convince them otherwise. Now, these same types of business owners, call me in front of our real estate signs, wondering why other Commercial Brokers have not told them about these locations."

Statewide real estate searches have become a major project recently for Murphy. One client has retained him to locate properties with acreage (minimum 100 acres) and large buildings as candidates for private schools. In addition, the client has asked him to search for existing private schools that are available for purchase. This client chose Murphy because he has data bases on his hard drive and contacts all over the state that other brokers do not have. "The client told me that they did not want to keep disclosing confidential information about their company and asked if I had the contacts to assure them of coverage throughout New Hampshire?" Murphy said, "Sure."

Another client has retained Murphy to search commercial investment property, such as office buildings and retail centers. Recently, this client purchased a medical office complex and presently is negotiating on a large two-tenant office and warehouse structure.

Retaining a broker, like Murphy, is the most efficient way to find the real estate you are looking for. With commercial real estate, it becomes even more important because of the confidential information that must be disclosed prior to obtaining confidential property information. Sellers are just as concerned with disclosing this detail, as Buyers are in releasing it. Having a commercial broker on your side is a must.
